A little lost lamb in her late 20s… let’s call me Jake.
I’ve now got a subscription to MUBI and will be going through as many films as I can to discover what I like and what I believe is true about the world.
Forget the answers to the big life questions, who’s going to tell me the questions? Instead of coming up with the questions I need answering out of the blue, I’ll watch as many random stories as I can and write down what I think about each. This is a place for me to write down my thoughts about the films that I watch, to hopefully be in the position to know myself a little bit better soon.

What this is not
(or in human language, disclaimer): Regardless of any signs indicating otherwise, this blog is not about films. It’s about what thoughts and feelings arise in me when I watch films. These thoughts are not coherent critiques of anything to do with the execution of the film, and although I might also jot down my thoughts on that, it is not the purpose of this blog to provide the coherent film-centered review.
Before you say anything about how I ramble about quotes even though the meaning I’m discussing has nothing to do with the meaning of quotes in the film: it’s not meant to be. Describing this blog as an association game would be more apt than as a collection of film reviews.
